Savannah's African Adventure

My name is Savannah, Sav for short, and I am 12 years old. In August 2027, I am going to be heading to Zanzibar on a volunteering mission.
Zanzibar has seen impressive economic growth over recent years, however, 37% of Zanzibarians live in poverty and survive on 75p per day. Government-run schools are overcrowded and underfunded, preventing many children from achieving their full potential at school. African Adventures work with these schools to improve their facilities and provide additional teaching support.
During my time in Zanzibar, I will be helping with building projects and teaching children. This will be a great opportunity for me to be a positive global citizen and to make a positive contribution to the world.
