I was lucky to go to Africa is October 2024 with African Adventures and have been given the opportunity to go again in October 2026. I am raising money to help and support me to participate in the volunteering program, which will allow me and other pupils from Glossopdale School and Sixth Form to visit our partner schools in Nakuru in Kenya.I will be going back to our partner schools and helping build and refurbish the school which is in a low-income area where government education, despite being free at the point of entry, is unaffordable overall because students have to pay for their own school books, uniform and desk. In addition to the refurbishment and building work I once again hope to volunteer as a sports coach, bringing my love of rugby to Kenya and to teach the children a few rugby skills.
